My 1st Post in 3 Months…
Wow, the last time I posted something here on Tumblr was 3 months ago. So what has happened since the last time I posted something on here…
-It’s been 7 months since I was diagnosed with nonseminoma testicular cancer and soon to be 7 months since I had my surgery to get rid of the tumor.
-I completed chemotherapy on March 5th after going through 2 sessions in a six week period.
-Otep went did a tour called the Seduce & Destroy Tour and I went to twelve shows. I went to every show from NYC to Rockford, IL which was 11 shows in a 12 day period and I went to the show in LA, the final show in the USA for this tour . In that time I finally met some people who I’ve talked to for a while but never actually met in person. I had so much fun going to those twelve shows. It was my 1st big thing that I did after I found out I had cancer and completed chemotherapy. With that, THANK YOU Otep, Ari, Erik, Tristan, Justin, and Nosaj for everything. I’ll never forget how magical it was being there to witness that show. I had so much fun. THANK YOU.
-Tomorrow, I will be getting my 22nd Otep Tattoo. It’s been 7 months since I got my last one and tomorrow that will change.
Well, that is all I can think of when it comes to the last 3 months.

fearfortheflesh asked: Hey, I was wondering... When you follow Otep around on tour, do you usually go with someone and stay in motels? I want to try to go to 3 shows at least, but I may have to drive alone... Was just wondering how people usually plan it out.
i usually go by myself to most shows and just sleep on the bus and/or train as i go from show to show. usuallyh the shows i go to are the next day after one another

Such a bittersweet time. The 1st single from my new album is available but my beloved Annie Christ died last weekend & it’s been very, very hard. However, I’ve recv’d so much love & support from the TRIBE that has helped me stay strong. Thank you so much for being there. ♥ OTEP
